Peach Starflower
Flower type: Annual (Evergreen - keeps its leaves all year round)This small flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its brown stem is very thick, and the tiny, yellow-green leaves are very narrow and elongated with tattered edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.
Two large flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with brown petals that gradient shift to peach on the outer edge. The central disk is hazel. The flower head is shaped like a star with 38 tightly layered, narrow petals. They detach easily.
It has a faint scent that smells like sweat, and it has a fair amount of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
