Burgundy Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 8 feet (2.4 meters)0.

It takes 4 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are thick and twisted.

The fan-like, waxy leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are blood red on the edges and bold purple at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces several large lime flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of very large berries.

Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
