Aquamarine

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 25 feet (7.6 meters)0.

It takes 3 years for the sky blue or lilac stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and remain soft and fleshy.

The stiff, pointed, sticky leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) in length. They are found in pink and peach varieties, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many giant aquamarine flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of large fruits.
