Cyanleaf

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This large shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for around 31 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many flexible, straight stems covered in smooth, light gray bark, and the wood inside is pale yellow.

The branches are long and thin with dozens of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of miniature, long, narrow, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are gentle orange at the bottom and cyan with black zig-zags at the top, delicate and soft.

In mid-spring it produces dozens of small, bronze flowers with stiff, pointed petals. They are very delicate and have an intense scent that smells like burning wood.

It commonly grows in large patches.
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
