Caramel Moss

This caramel or ashy blue moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is slightly resilient; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores.
