Copperbell

This average-sized caudiciform grows up to 40 feet (12.2 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stem is copper, and is covered in handfuls of flexible gentle red spines. The stumpy, gentle red trunk can grow to as much as 40 feet (12.2 meters) in diameter. Its orange branches are long and thin.

The serrated-edged, wide leaves are either cream or subtle green, with blood red lines. They are strong, and do not detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 17 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid azure petals decorated with blue dots and a indigo central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like pepper.

The caudiciform's skin is rock-hard, the caramel flesh is smooth, and the purple sap is thin.
