Blue

This enormous flower grows up to 13.8 feet (4.2 meters) tall. Its copper stem is very thin, and the tiny, lime green leaves are perforated with toothed edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Each stem splits 6 to 11 times; a single giant flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 27 cm (10.6 inches) wide, with petals that are vibrant blue at the sides and purple at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 15 curved petals. They fall easily.

It has a powerful scent that smells like chocolate, and it has very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
