Bluebell

This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its blue stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 7 and are thin and straight, and split into several branching stems a quarter of the way up, and the tiny, orange-yellow leaves are fan-like with ripped edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Around 40 large flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 1 cm (0.4 inches) wide, with red petals that gradient shift to lime on the outer edge. The central disk is deep green. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 curved petals. They are hardy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like coconut, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also particularly attractive to butterflies.
