Lilac Spike Cactus

This small cactus grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 6 spear shaped stems. Each stem is slate or pink, and is covered in hundreds of flexible florescent green spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 11 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid azure petals decorated with cream dots and a aquamarine central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a heart with 38 tightly layered, narrow petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like a woman.

The cactus's skin is thin, the green flesh is rough, and the lilac sap is thin.
