Lilac Spike Cactus
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This small cactus grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 6 spear shaped stems. Each stem is slate or pink, and is covered in hundreds of flexible florescent green spines.
It is steady-growing, taking 11 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid azure petals decorated with cream dots and a aquamarine central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a heart with 38 tightly layered, narrow petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like a woman.
The cactus's skin is thin, the green flesh is rough, and the lilac sap is thin.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
