Crimson vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 33 feet (10.1 meters)0. It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 13 months for the lime and green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The spiral, crispy leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) in length. They are crimson on the sides and yellow at the center, and have tattered edges.

It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
