Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This big bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 477 feet (145.4 meters) and growing as high as 42 feet (12.8 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 8 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are rough and gnarled.

The asymmetrical, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) in length. They are purple on the edges and copper at the center, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a handful of average olive flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces lots of large seed pods.

It has impressive regenerative properties.
