Copper

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 58 feet (17.7 meters) tall. The narrow stem is copper and green, and is covered in thick bunches of fine, faded red, hair-like spines. The stumpy leaves are florescent blue and black. Copious amounts of them grow on thick, burgundy branches that trail down across the ground. The leaves are flimsy, and take little effort to detach.

It is quick growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with solid peach petals decorated with vivid red dots and a violet central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 8 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a star made up of dozens of tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like apple.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the vivid red flesh is slimy, and the yellow sap is thin.
