Golden Cactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This colossal cactus grows up to 172 feet (52.4 meters) tall. The wide stem is orange-yellow, and is covered in many fine, beige, hair-like spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are sky blue on the underside and gold on the top, grow at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 curved petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like fresh linen.

The cactus's skin is thin, the bronze flesh is rough, and the blood red sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.

It can survive a very long time without water.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
