Azureleaf Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 67 feet (20.4 meters) tall. The perforated stem is gray-green, and is covered in lots of flexible light green spines. The stumpy leaves are green and azure. Thick bunches of them grow on bulbous, amber or dark grey branches that are short stubs. The leaves are robust, and easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with aquamarine petals on the lower layer and white petals decorated with indigo dots on the inner layer. The central disk is silver, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a bowl made up of many raised, narrow petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like mango.

The leaf succulent's skin is rock-hard, the florescent red flesh is smooth, and the azure sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.
