Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In damp forests.
It is huge, growing up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly resistant.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores.
