Copperbrush

This big shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for around 26 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous sturdy, twisting stems covered in paper-thin, knobbly, gray bark, and the wood inside is brown.

The branches trail down to the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of small, very thin, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are beige and red, strong and sticky.

In late summer it produces handfuls of giant, copper flowers with triangular shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a mildly strong scent that smells like mango.
