Coppergrass

This small, copper or light brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in sparse patches that are rigid and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, vivid blue flower.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of large grains.
