Gray Moss

This gray moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainforests, In marshes, and In bogs.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is very flexible; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.
