Greenstem Grass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)This huge, green grass grows up to 16 feet (4.9 meters) tall. The 2 pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are rigid and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, hazel flower.
During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It comes in 46 varieties.
