Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In marshes, and On trees.
It is huge, growing up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very rigid.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores.
