Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 233 feet (71.0 meters) and growing as high as 19 feet (5.8 meters).

It takes 18 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1.6 feet (48 cm) and remain soft and fleshy.

The fan-like, smooth leaves reach up to 2.7 feet (81 cm) in length. They are either beige, or turquoise with hazel lines, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many clusters of colossal cream flowers.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It can flourish even in standing water.
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
