Emerald

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In marshes.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly rigid.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release dozens of spores.
