Coppergrass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This short, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The 9 pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are delicate and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, copper flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of tiny grains.

Several parts of the moss have medicinal properties.
It is suitable for making paper
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
