Caramel Grass

This short, gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The spear shaped stalks grow in small clumps that are flexible and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, caramel puff.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of giant grains.
