Waterclasp Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 39 feet (11.9 meters)0.

It takes 10 months for the faded green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The finger-like, clammy leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) in length. They are dark grey and grey, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of large red flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny fruits.

It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
