Copperleaf

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This short, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in thin clumps that are flimsy and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, turquoise flower.

During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
The sap causes severe rashes
