Emerald

This gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In bogs, On rotten logs, and In rainforests.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very robust.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores.
