Caramelvine

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 481 feet (146.6 meters) and growing as high as 33 feet (10.1 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 19 months for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 10 inches (25 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The thin, crispy leaves reach up to 2.5 feet (76 cm) in length. They are generally brown, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of tiny caramel flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces lots of very large fruits.
