Violetvine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This large shrub grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall and lives for around 34 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous sturdy, wavy stems covered in fine, rough, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is light brown.

The branches are long and thin that and are covered with small bunches of tiny, fan-like, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are either deep purple or white, with bronze edges, delicate and leathery.

In mid-spring it produces copious amounts of small, white flowers with pleated petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are sturdy and have an overpowering scent that smells like fruity.

It has impressive regenerative properties.
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
