Bronzevine

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) tall. Its green stem is very thick and splits into 5 branching stems a quarter of the way up, and the small, orange-yellow leaves are dark bronze and silver on the underside and are asymmetrical with wavy edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Two tiny flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 31 cm (12.2 inches) wide, with petals that are purple in the center, orange in the middle and magenta at the edges. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals in raised layers. They are hardy.

It has a soft scent that smells like honeysuckle, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by the wind and is ignored by most insect species.
