Ashy Green Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small, gray grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in thin clumps that are flimsy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, ashy green tuft.
During the early autumn, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.
