Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 41 feet (12.5 meters) tall. The narrow stem is gray, and is covered in handfuls of rigid bronze spines. The thick, gnarled, caramel trunk can grow to as much as 41 feet (12.5 meters) in diameter. Its pink-red branches trail down towards the ground.

The smooth-edged, broad, flat leaves are either pink or hazel, with olive zig-zags. They are resilient, and detach easily.

It is very fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with cream petals on the lower layer and orange petals decorated with violet dots on the inner layer. The central disk is violet grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a star with 26 raised, narrow petals. It has an intense scent that smells like something putrid.

The caudiciform's skin is tough, the copper flesh is soft, and the sky blue sap is thin.
