Coppergrass

Grass type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized, copper grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The 5 pointed stalks grow in thin clumps that are strong and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, brown tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of large grains.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
