Copper

This big caudiciform grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall. The thick stem is copper, and is covered in handfuls of rigid pale orange spines. The straight, bronze trunk can grow to as much as 8 feet (2.4 meters) in diameter in the middle. Its moss green branches are short, rigid and upright and start growing three quarters of the way up the stem.

The small amounts of rounded-edged, wide leaves are azure on the sides and pink at the center. They are resistant, but do not detach easily.

It is quick growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with solid peach petals decorated with vibrant red dots and a amber central disk grow at the top, reappearing after 5 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 7 petals in raised layers. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like varnish.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the sky blue flesh is sticky, and the bronze sap is thin.
