Copperleaf

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 27 feet (8.2 meters) tall. The fan-like stem is copper, and is covered in brittle yellow spines. The wavy-edged, fan-like leaves are white at the bottom and brown with black splotches at the top. Large amounts of them grow from the base like blades of grass. The leaves are sturdy, and take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 23 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid cream petals and a peach central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 curved petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like grass cuttings.

The leaf succulent's skin is delicate, the caramel flesh is smooth, and the white sap is thin.
