Emerald

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In marshes.
It is big, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and can spread and grow quickly, and is very light.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
