Amberpetal

This average-sized flower grows up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. Its orange or brown stem is very thin and straight with a curved tip, and the giant, burgundy leaves are white on the underside and are slender, pointed with tattered edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

A single large flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 45 cm (17.7 inches) wide, with petals that are black in the center, amber in the middle and silver at the edges. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. They are sturdy.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like grass cuttings, and it has very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
