Bluebell

This short flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its blue stem is very thick and straight with a curved tip, and the tiny, gray-green leaves are very thin with rounded edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

Two small flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with cream petals on the lower layer and aquamarine petals decorated with brown dots on the inner layer. The central disk is beige. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 60 petals. They detach easily.

It has a soft scent that smells like new carpet, and it has very little pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
