Bluefire Succulent

This colossal caudiciform grows up to 117 feet (35.7 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is lime green and olive, and is covered in many rigid black spines. It has a slanted, very thick, cream trunk atop a stumpy mess of cracked, exposed roots. The branches are stocky and yellow and are very long and slender.

The ripped-edged, finger-like leaves are solid blue with lime patches. They are flimsy, but take little effort to detach.

It is quick growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with blue petals and a cream central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 60 petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like ashes.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the lilac flesh is rubbery, and the white sap is thin.
