Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This giant caudiciform grows up to 117 feet (35.7 meters) tall. The pleated stem is green, and is covered in dozens of rigid blue spines. The stocky, red trunk can grow to as much as 117 feet (35.7 meters) in diameter. Its slate and lime green branches are tall, rigid and upright.

The jagged-edged, thick leaves are turquoise on the edges and faded orange at the center. They are delicate, and take little effort to detach.

It is very slow growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with beige petals and a yellow center grows at the top, reappearing after 7 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of many petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cube. It has a delicate scent that smells like garlic.

The caudiciform's skin is very thick, the blood red flesh is soft, and the blue sap is thin.

It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
