Lilac Zigzag Vine

It takes 3 years for the red stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are soft and flexible.
The slender, pointed, waxy leaves reach up to 11 inches (28 cm) in length. They are solid lilac with beige zig-zags, and have wavy edges.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
