Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This colossal fruit tree grows up to 72 feet (21.9 meters) tall and lives for up to 20 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 45 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a flexible, straight trunk covered in knobbly, black with white speckled bark, and inside, the very hard wood is copper-coloured.

The branches trail down to the ground and are covered with large amounts of giant, finger-like leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in slate, washed-out red and washed-out red varieties.

In early spring, it produces hundreds of large, green blossoms with many layers of petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have a delicate scent that smells like new carpet.

In mid-autumn it produces , long, straight fruit. The crispy silver skin is peel-able and edible when roasted; it is sweet and savoury, and the crunchy violet flesh is bitter and sticky. The gold seeds are small and are scattered throughout the fruit.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
