Turquoise

Shrub type: Coniferous (Stores water in its stem)

This giant shrub grows up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 169 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many sturdy, straight stems covered in smooth, yellow bark, and the wood inside is black.

The branches are very short, thin and wispy with thousands of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, very thick, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are muted yellow at the bottom and turquoise with violet patches at the top, rigid and sticky.

It produces thick bunches of giant, peach flowers with spiral shaped petals. They are hardy and have an overpowering scent that smells like a man. In late summer it forms medium-sizedblack seed pods.
