Silvergrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This average-sized, gray grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The V-shaped stalks grow in thin clumps that are light and frail and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, pale green puff.
During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of tiny grains.
It is difficult to cut through.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
