Violet

This large shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for around 26 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several slender, crooked stems covered in fine, waxy, silver and white bark, and the wood inside is pale brown-grey.

The branches are very long and thin that and are covered with large amounts of large, fan-like, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are cream on the edges and violet at the center, flimsy and smooth.

It produces a thick sheet of small, brown flowers with 2 circular shaped petals. They detach easily and have a strong scent that smells like apple. In mid-summer it forms medium-sizedcream seed pods.
