Ambervine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This big bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 259 feet (78.9 meters) and growing as high as 48 feet (14.6 meters).

It takes 10 months for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 11 inches (28 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The oval-shaped, fuzzy leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are either slate or beige, with violet streaks, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many clusters of small amber flowers.

It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
The leaves are excellent for making pulp fibers.
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
