Bloodvine

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 30 feet (9.1 meters) and growing as high as 303 feet (92.4 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 10 months for the bronze stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The finger-like, clammy leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are light blue at the bottom and pink with blood red zig-zags at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thousands of giant azure flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of very large seed pods.
