Aquamarine Moss

This moss green or aquamarine moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In heathlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is overwhelmingly hardy; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
