Azureflare

This short caudiciform grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stem is brown, and is covered in lots of flexible cream spines. The twisting, florescent red trunk can grow to as much as 2 feet (61.0 cm) in diameter at the bottom. Its green branches are tall, rigid and upright and start growing at the top the stem.

The very large amounts of serrated-edged, long, tapering leaves are azure on the edges and sky blue at the center. They are durable, but take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are yellow on the edges and yellow at the center grow at the top, reappearing once every 9 years. The flower head is shaped like a dish with 37 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a weak scent that smells like a man.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the pink flesh is slimy, and the silver sap is thin.
