Burgundy vine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 5 feet (1.5 meters)0. It prefers to grow on rock formations.
It takes 10 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and fibrous.
The stiff, pointed, sticky leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are turquoise on the sides and hazel at the center, and have toothed edges.
During late spring, the vine produces thousands of small silver flowers.
